The 2024 season at The Ford is less than three weeks away, and on July 14 the summer lineup kicks off with a much-needed examination of pop culture and politics from a decidedly Black queer perspective via a live edition of Vibe Check.
What is Vibe Check? Think of it as your favorite group chat come to life. The weekly podcast, hosted by audio-journalist Sam Sanders, poet Saeed Jones, and theater producer Zach Stafford, closes out its first live tour at The Ford to talk about what’s going on in news and culture—and how it all feels. The trio describes their show as a culmination of years of friendship that invites listeners into their “supportive sister circle.”
