Eastside Picnic Festival -> Every third Saturday of the month, The Queer Mercado cultivates an inclusive community space with local vendors at the East LA Civic Center. For April, they’re bringing live music to the scene with a special lineup of performers for the first installment of the Eastside Picnic Festival. The fun runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and it’s totally free to attend.

Easy Mornings in Grand Park – M FA > Easy Mornings are back at Gloria Molina Grand Park this Saturday for the second of the series’s April activations. The event offers a respite for Angelenos of all ages to unwind and recharge in the heart of Downtown L.A. Enjoy free activities, including family yoga, theater, dance, arts & crafts, and an eclectic marketplace curated by Smorgasburg L.A., featuring local organizations, artists, and micro-businesses dedicated to community recovery and healing. Earth Day at Marine Cabrillo Aquarium – FA > San Pedro’s Marine Cabrillo Aquarium celebrate Earth Day with a lineup of family-friendly earth care activities this Saturday. Programming includes a beach cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon, an Earth Day Fair and Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a Native Garden Restoration from 1 to 3 p.m. Plus, there will be a few tasty food trucks on hand to purchase bites. Wild for the Planet ft. Big Bunny -> The L.A. Zoo celebrates Earth Day and Easter with special events this Friday through Sunday, including Earth Expo featuring conservation and community organizations, special animal wellness talks, live performances, storytime for kids, honey tastings, and photos with “Big Bunny.” The events are included with zoo admission (though the honey tastings and photos are extra!).
