PST ART: Art x Science Family FestivalFA > La Brea Tar Pits hosts the PST ART: Art x Science Family Festival this Saturday to Monday at Hancock Park, offering three days of family-focused and kid-friendly art and educational experiences and workshops, including a rolling program of shows and performances throughout each day produced by the Edinburgh Science Festival. Music With a Movie CameraFA > Helix Collective’s 10-piece film-music ensemble comes to the Wende Museum this Sunday to perform original film soundtracks from the 1920s-80s via composers from the former Soviet Union, all backed by clips from the related films. Included are score selections from It’s a Wonderful Life, Man with a Movie Camera, The Gadfly, The Cranes are Flying, and The Snowstorm.
