CicLAmini Wilmington – FA > The smaller scale CicLAvia event heads to Wilmington this Sunday for a “mini” course. Expect the usual pedestrian-oriented experience featuring activities such as self-guided walking tours, scavenger hunts, street games, local business engagements, and art and cultural activities along the entire 2.25 mile open streets event. Concerts in the Dome – > This Sunday, Mount Wilson Observatory kicks its 2024 season of concerts hosted inside the historic 100-inch telescope dome, where the acoustics are said to be some of the finest in the world. The first concert of the season features cellist Cécilia Tsan and harpist Marcia Dickstein playing works by Vivaldi, Debussy, Fanny Mendelssohn, John Williams, Bruch and Nan Schwartz. Pick Pico Festival – FA > The Pick Pico neighborhood street fair is back this Sunday with a 100+ booths/vendors, a kids zone, face painting, live entertainment, and food, all centered around the intersection of Pico Blvd and Overland Ave. The last event drew over 5,000 visitors, so expect a crowd!
