Make Metro Part of Your Weekend

Party On! A Sober Comedy Show -> Santa Monica’s hyper-inclusive comedy venue, The Crow, defines itself by the idea that healing and humor go hand in hand. Every first Sunday of month, the venue hosts Party On!, which gathers a lineup of comics to speak to their unique experience of recovery. For June, headliners include Laura House, Kim Clevenger, Cathy Ladman, John Henson, Mike Muratore and Jull SoChill. Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20. More info here.

WeHo Pride Parade -> WeHo Pride 2024 continues on Sunday with the second day of the OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride music festival, plus the annual WeHo Pride Parade along. Kylie Minogue headlines music fest at West Hollywood Park (ticketed), while the parade takes place on Santa Monica Blvd. between Crescent Heights Blvd. and San Vicente Blvd., beginning at 12:30 p.m. (free to attend). Sherman Oaks Spring Concert & FestivalFA > The Valley Cultural Foundation’s re-scheduled spring concert and festival finally arrives this Sunday with an evening event at Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Recreation Center featuring “Beatles vs. Stones” cover band battle plus food trucks, free balloon art, and special activities for kids. Hollywood Bowl Day at Smorgasburg -> This Sunday, Smorgasburg LA celebrates the new summer season at The Hollywood Bowl with a series of “punny” food specials, including a NUTELLA Lafourcade gelato by MOOMMAAM, Quarantine Pizza’s Mozz-art-ella under the stars, or a Beckon cheeseburger bowl by Evil Cooks.   • On Sunday, the Hammer launches the 15th annual edition of their student-run interdisciplinary arts journal, Graphite, which features readings, lectures, and videos by contributing artists centered around the theme of “almanac.” FA
