It’s Sunday and we here are again, back in the triple digits. Not ideal, but we’re still scouring the scene for ideas if you want to test the heat.

Dedicated to You at Beyond the Streets – FA > Dedicated to You celebrates the essence of Chicano art through compilation of photography by Estevan Oriol alongside works from the late artist Teen Angel, whose eponymous magazine became a touchstone for lowrider culture and tattoo artistry. The exhibition is set to close on September 15, so there is only one week left to check it out. The gallery, located at 434 N La Brea Ave, is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free. Little Ethiopia Street Festival -> The 23rd Annual Little Ethiopia Cultural Street Festival returns on Sunday showcasing the culture, music and food of Ethiopia through a neighborhood-wide activation that runs from noon to 8 p.m. Get more info here.
