Things To Do For Saturday

Bergamot Spring Fling -> Creative arts complex Bergamot will host a Spring Fling today, bringing together some over 20 participating galleries for a series of artist talks, walk-throughs, local vendors and special events. Runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free to attend. More info here.

LitFest Pasadena -> The 10th Anniversary of LitFest Pasadena comes to the Mountain View Mausoleum in Altadena for an afternoon of literary talks and panel discussions, capped by a conversation between authors Michael Connelly and Gregg Hurwitz . Free to attend. Runs 2 to 8 p.m. More info here.

Latino Comics Expo -> Starting today, The Latino Comics Expo and the Museum of Latin American (MOLAA) team up for a two-day series of panels, workshops, and screenings. 45 vendors are expected to be onsite for this year’s event. Admission is free, but paid onsite parking is $15. More info here.

  • People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) is hosting an inaugural food fundraiser, Taste of Home, at Sunset Las Palmas Studios in Hollywood.
  • Grand Park Easy Mornings hosts a series of family-friendly activities and pop-ups from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Street Food Cinema screens Spiderman: No Way Home this evening at LA Historic State Park. GA tickets start at $19 per person.
  • Shipwrecked, a tiki marketplace, comes to The Warehouse Restaurant in Marina del Rey for a pop-up event featuring Polynesian Pop and Exotica art, live music, and dozens of vendors in the upstairs bazaar.
  • The City of Santa Monica hosts a kid-friendly Arts & Literacy Festival today in Virgina Avenue Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free to attend.
  • This afternoon, local artists come together for a Mural Mash Up to celebrate the close of the Venice Art Walk & Gallery Auction with an afternoon of mural-making accompanied by DJ’d tunes, a live screen-printing station, some free coffee, and plenty of works to view inside the pop-up gallery.
  • Netflix is a Joke: The Festival has over 20 individual performances scheduled for Saturday, with tickets still available for most, including Fortune Feimster at The Ace Hotel Theatre, Marlon Wayans at The Palace Theatre, Katherine Ryan at The Regent, Doug Stanhope at The Avalon, and Atsuko Okatsuka at Dynasty Typewriter.
