2023 Watts Towers Day of the Drum and Jazz Festivals – > This weekend at the the Watts Towers Arts Center campus, catch a pair of annual cultural events perfect for the whole family. On Saturday, the 41st Day of the Drum Festival brings dancers and percussionists together for a day of rhythm spanning styles from traditional Aztec music to African beats. Then on Sunday, the 46th annual Jazz Festival is back with a lineup that includes spoken word artists, gospel jazz, and blues. Both events take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and are free to attend. Japan Family Day -> Japan Family Day pops up at Santa Anita Park this Saturday and Sunday for two days of cultural events, demonstrations, food, cosplay, vendors, a calligraphy workshop and more.
