Cultivate: Land Technologies, Stories and Dance TraditionsM FA > This Sunday, LA Commons is teaming up with choreographer and South Los Angeles native Bernard Brown for a guided walk through the Historic Leimert Park neighborhood. Held on George Washington Carver Day, the event will honor the legacy of the innovator, agricultural scientist and educator through a morning of mindfulness engagement and traditional Africanist movement, highlighted by a closing dance performance at Plant Chica.
