Pasadena ArtNight – M FA > This Friday, the spring edition of Pasadena ArtNight offers free admission and special activations at 19 of the city’s arts and culture institutions. Participants include the Pasadena City Hall, Gamble House, USC Pacific Asia Museum, and the Armory Center for the Arts. here’s a free shuttle you can hop on between venues as well. Here There Are Blueberries at The Wallis – > Starting Thursday, Moisés Kaufman and Amanda Gronich’s Here There Are Blueberries begins a three week run at The Wallis. The documentary play unravels the story behind a discovered photo album from Auschwitz, shedding light on the chilling normalcy of the perpetrators while raising haunting questions about human complicity. LA Marathon + Expo -> The 40th annual Los Angeles Marathon is a weekend-long experience that includes a free two-day expo at Dodger Stadium (this Friday and Saturday), a Saturday 5K, an LA Kids Run, plus the Charity Half Marathon and of course the big race on Sunday. More info here.
Toys As Art: Mattel’s 80th Anniversary Group Exhibition at Corey Helford Gallery – FA > On Saturday, Corey Helford Gallery (CHG) teams up with Mattel Creations for a major new exhibition, celebrating Mattel’s 80th anniversary. St. Patty’s Day at Benny Boy – FA > Benny Boy Brewing gets into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit this Saturday with an evening of live band karaoke, nitro milk stout, and green beer, plus a ticketed ($50) Cider & Oyster Pairing class with Perlitas as part of the Re:Her’s Women’s History Month Festival. SoCal Museums Museum Free-for-All – FA TP > This Sunday, the SoCal Museums Museums Free-for-All returns for an annual regional collaboration between over thirty museums and cultural institutions, all of which will offer free admission on the same date. The 2025 list of participants includes many Metro-accessible locations, including LACMA, The Getty, The Broad, The Autry, The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, and more. Soil Health & Earth Regeneration Workshop – FA > This Sunday, the Crenshaw Dairy Mart will host a special workshop on Soil Health & Earth Regeneration. Master Gardener Waunette Cullors of WOW Flower Project and artist gene aguilar magaña lead guests toward a better understanding of soil health and restoration through community gardening practices, including the use of restorative California native seeds to counter toxic pollution and building sculptural seed capsules from compost.
