Vista Hermosa Natural Park is not the biggest park in Los Angeles (it’s about 10.5 acres) but perched on a hill just northwest of downtown and across the 110 freeway, it’s kind of like a hidden green island in the urban sea that is Echo Park.
Of particular note is the bench situated in perfect symmetry with the DTLA skyline that creates one of the most splendid photo opportunities in the entire city.

From Mer S. on Yelp
“Its a little hidden oasis in the heart of LA. Great little park and escape with a fantastic view of the downtown LA skyline. Went her during the week and parking was a breeze in the little parking lot. Weekends may be busier, but there seems to be street parking.”
