As the (apparent) police officer points out while speaking with the filmmakers (an outfit called Skycame) post incident, if you’re going to film in an area with heavy criminal activity that has drug hustle on taking up space on virtually every corner, you damn better well talk to the appropriate stakeholder (the shot-caller) to get the ok or pay whatever tariff is necessary to ensure no harm may come.
