This video embed below looks absolutely terrifying, with people fleeing the scene and screaming as tents are blowing over and fly up into the air along with other dangerous debris, in some may term a ‘dust devil’ event (not to be confused with a tornado).

From the L.A. Times:
“We’re calling it a dust devil but a cold one,” said National Weather Service forecaster Ryan Kittell. “It was not a tornado. There’s no thunder clouds in the area.”
The incident occurred at a fanfest area outside the Rose Bowl Stadium on in the afternoon New Year’s Eve Day.
Thankfully, it seems like no serious injuries occurred. According to Pasadena Fire Department spokeswoman Lisa Derderian three people received minor injuries and a fourth had a slight injury to a finger (per KTLA).
