This post is a sponsored collaboration between The Music Center and We Like L.A.
In 2017 The Music Center has embarked on a new initiative to expand programming outside its 22-acre Downtown campus, bringing distinctive artistic performances to the greater Los Angeles area at a variety of unique locations. On August 18-20 this vision comes to life in a three-night series of amazing music and dance, all at one of L.A.’s freshest venues.
The Music Center On Location, presented in partnership with the Ford Theatres, will offer performances by internationally acclaimed choreographer Aszure Barton; a double bill of contemporary dance by Jacob Jonas The Company followed by Tim Hecker with Kara-Lis Coverdale; and a concert under the stars by singer, songwriter and composer Rufus Wainwright.
All three performances will take place at the beautifully renovated Ford Amphitheater. Keep in mind that the third night also features a special offer for VIP tickets, which includes valet parking, gourmet boxed dinner, limited edition giveaway, an artist meet-and-greet along with a post-performance reception.
More information about each artist, along with the complete schedule, can be found below.
