Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One will be performing a free double DJ set at Amoeba Music on March 11th as part of the promotion for their latest collaboration entitled Tuxedo, which was just released on March 3rd. There will also be a a post-set signing opportunity for any fans who purchase the album in-store.
The first set starts at 6pm at Amoeba Music, 6400 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028.
For the uninitiated, if you think you’d enjoy a cross between something like Pharrell and Poolside, you’d definitely enjoy Tuxedo. It’s got an infectious California disco-funk vibe that will make you feel like summer has already arrived. Totally danceable.
