The L.A. Times Festival of Books is This Weekend!

Posted by

The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books has been going strong for almost 20 years with a reliance on one some simple mission: to connect people who love books, both the creators and the consumers.

This year that mission continues with a weekend long extravaganza on the USC campus that will include live bands, poetry readings, chef demos, photography exhibits, film screenings, Q&A’s, cultural entertainment and artists creating their work on-site.

From the opening performance by the USC marching band to featured talks from thought leaders like Malcolm Gladwell to an entire stage devoted just for cooking demonstrations, there’s pretty much something for everyone at this year’s festival.

And of course the best part? General admission is FREE!

That said, if you plan to attend, check some important FAQ info after the jump (admission is free, but there are still some costs…).
