Posted by Were you already planning on heading out to Pasadena this Sunday to take part in CicLAvia? Well, here’s one more awesome reason to partake in the festivities.
The folks over at Wescom Credit Union are not only going to be offering up their parking lot for free use for the event (it’s on Marengo just a couple short blocks from Colorado where the CicLAvia route begins) but they’ve worked out an agreement with Sprinkles to give out free cupcakes to everyone who parks in the lot.

The giveaway continues an ongoing campaign called #WescomKindness. The idea is simple: Give back to the community through random (and totally unexpected) acts of generosity which, in this case, takes the form of free cupcakes (yes!).
Over the last month Wescom has announced other similar events as part of the kindness initiative, including a promo for free Yogurtland and a slate of free food truck lunches throughout the L.A. area.

For Sunday’s giveaway, the lot will be open starting at 8:30am and will close at 5:00pm.
Cupcakes will be available from 1:30pm until supplies last. Note that as far as we’ve been told there are no special restrictions on getting a cupcake, but do mind that the parking lot has limited capacity and may fill up fast.
CicLAvia Pasadena takes place from 9:00am – 4:00pm on Sunday, May 31 in Old Town Pasadena (primarily along Colorado Blvd). Here’s a link to full details on the route, including a map.
