Since time is precious in this fast paced city we curate a list of things to do in Los Angeles for every weekend that’ll help you decide how you want to spend your limited supply of attention (not to mention dollars!).

This weekend, from Friday, March 29 to Sunday, March 31, features 7th annual ¡Latin Food Fest!, Street Food Cinema Grease 50’s Style Prom, Spring Market at ROW DTLA, Torrance Cherry Blossom Cultural Festival, Pasadena Festival of Tea and MUCH more.

Friday March 29th, 2019

1.The 7th annual ¡Latin Food Fest! happening at L.A. State Historic Park March 29 – 30 celebrates Hispanic culinary excellence. On Friday there will be a “Chefs Night out” wine, spirits and beer party. On Saturday The Gran Tasting will take place featuring cooking and cocktail tastings plus a live demo from Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger of Border Grill.

2. The Other Art Fair Los Angeles returns to Magic Box at The Reef March 28-31 for the 3rd edition of its independent artist showcase. 3. The Greens at the Rose Bowl (the grounds surrounding the stadium) will launch a summer event called Final Fridays. A family friendly event happening on the last Friday (4-8 p.m.) of every month where food trucks, life-size games, stadium tours and so more are offered.

4. Cirque du Soleil: Corteo takes over The Forum from March 27-31 for a spellbinding evening of fantastical acrobatics, costumes and sets. 5. Night Dive an adults-only party happening at Aquarium of the Pacific will host an after hours featuring local rock bands, DJs in the Aquarium’s galleries, art, cocktails, food trucks and much more.

7. There’s a pasta and wine party happening at Eataly this Friday. Guests will be able to walk around the space tasting pasta’s and wine from different regions of Italy. In addition guests will also enjoy live demonstrations plus a special Easter dessert.

8.Rooftop Cinema Club returns to the rooftops of LEVEL in DTLA and NeueHouse in Hollywood with multiple screenings this weekend that include a Grease Sing-a-long, Dirty Dancing and more.

9. The 21st Annual NOIR CITY: HOLLYWOOD film festival returns to the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood for 10 nights (March 29-April 7) featuring films from this exciting artistic era.

10. The Walt Disney Concert Hall will host a pre-show reception in the Garden with complementary drinks before enjoying music by Gershwin and Ravel performed by The LA Philharmonic. (DISCOUNTED) via Goldstar

11. Don’t Tell Comedy pops up in Mar Vista at a secret location with some of the biggest names in comedy. Performers are kept under wraps and the location will be emailed to all ticket holders. BYOB!

12. Tomatomania returns to Descanso Gardens March 29–31 for gardening workshops, talks, demonstrations and the biggest selection of classic and unusual tomato and pepper plants for sale.

13. Eataly Los Angeles’ first-ever Restaurant Fest takes place March 18-31. The two-week long festival highlights Italian spring time cuisine through two-course prix fixe menus from all three restaurants inside the complex. Available during lunch and dinner, prices range from $18-28 and select wines will be priced at just $25 a bottle for the occasion.

14. The Langham Huntington in Pasadena presents a roaring 20s gala where guests can indulge in vintage cocktails and french inspired food, plus a champagne fountain, live band, silent movies, and a hidden speakeasy.

15. Grand Central Market hosts Friday Night Flights every Friday starting at noon. The special includes a flight of drinks or bites from GCM vendors and a round trip ticket on the historic Angels Flight Railway right across the street for $15.

16. Take an afternoon yoga class in beautiful Grand Park. The 45 minute workout is complimentary to the public every. After yoga, checkout the many food trucks lining the park and grab lunch al fresco style. FREE

Saturday March 30th, 2019

17. Street Food Cinema is throwing a Grease 50’s style prom this Saturday at the Million Dollar Theatre in downtown.

18. Spring Market at ROW DTLA brings a unique collective of live music, immersive art, dynamic speakers (curated by Refinery29) and gorgeous goods from over 50 vendors in beauty, apparel, wellness, jewelry, and more.

19. Native American Festival comes to Shoreline Village in Long Beach for its annual, family-friendly celebration featuring live Native American performances like dancing, drumming, singing, flute and story telling. FREE

20. Common Space Brewery located in Hawthorne will host a Vegan Oktoberfest Party featuring a huge list of vegan food vendors offering German and Oktoberfest themed dishes. This event is free to attend, open to all ages and dog friendly.

21. Norton Simon Museum hosts a Drop-in Drawing every Saturday. Guests can pick up a drawing board, paper and pencil at the Information Desk and enjoy drawing in the galleries and Sculpture Garden.

22. Downward Grog presents Rooftop Yoga with a View at Banc of California Stadium. Enjoy brunch after from premier food and beer hall Fields LA attached to the stadium.

23. It’s Drag Queen Story Hour at the Eagle Rock Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library. Drag queens will read progressive children’s literature. This event is open to kids of all ages. Crafts and post-storytime photos with the Queen are encouraged. FREE

24. Tom Gun Live brings back their crazy Top Gun spoof show this Saturday. Happening at Catch One nightclub the show will include outrageous audience participation and tacos!

25. Enjoy a free Chilean outdoor music concert at the historic Sun Valley Youth Arts Center this Saturday. FREE

26. The Egg House visits Los Angeles March 20 – April 28 for an egg-themed, 12,000-square-foot pop-up multi-sensory experience showcasing a series of installations and activations around egg themed creations.

27. The Santa Monica Conservancy hosts a Downtown Walking Tour uncovering the history of the area and its architectural gems.3

Sunday March 31st, 2019

28. The Torrance Cherry Blossom Cultural Festival comes to Columbia Park on Sunday for a unique blend of cultural performances with a fun variety of crafts by local artisans, centered around the blooming cherry blossom. FREE

29. The third annual Pasadena Festival of Tea returns to the Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden on Sunday for a celebration for tea and garden lovers alike. Local tea vendors will serve up tastings and offer sales of a large variety of teas and tea accessories.

30. California African American Museum will host Art + Feminism Wikipedia edit-a-thon a worldwide edit-a-thon to close the gender gap. Bring your laptop, beginners and all gender expressions and identities are welcome. FREE

31. Wallis Annenberg PetSpace will host a discussion on “What to Expect When You’re Expecting A New Dog” to help folks who adopt navigate some of the essentials such as training, nutrition, socialization and time commitment all important points that help ease the integration of a new dog into your home. FREE

32. It’s Cesar Chavez Family Day at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes this Sunday. The free celebration features a guest speaker from the Cesar Chavez Foundation, Xipe Totec Aztec dancers, live music by Lorenzo and the Carnales, plus art, garden, and culinary workshops. FREE

33. Off Sunset Festival, LA’s Leather Culture Street Fair closes out a week of events for Los Angeles Leather Pride right in the heart of Silver Lake. This event is for guests 21 and over only.

34. Desert X returns for its bi-annual public art show February 9 through April 21. Spread throughout the Coachella Valley in various locations, artists are commissioned to use the desert landscape as their canvas with breathtaking results.
