A Night of Mozart & Nielsen at Walt Disney Concert Hall

Posted by

This April 25-27, three nights of rollicking classical delights arrive at the Walt Disney Concert Hall as Ryan Bancroft guides the tumult and triumph of Nielsen’s Fourth Symphony while renowned South Korean classical pianist Yeol Eum Son brings out the sublime sophistication of Mozart.

The Los Angeles-native Ryan Bancroft leads the LA Phil in Nielsen’s primal and spirited symphony as well as Anders Hillborg’s Sound Atlas. In between, Yeol Eum Son will team up with the LA Phil for a thoroughly modern rendition of Mozart’s Concerto No. 24.

And if you want to enhance your concert experience, make sure to stop by the Rooftop Garden pre-concert for Drinks in the Garden before the Friday (April 25) show. Free and open to all ticket holders, it’s a chance to mix and mingle with fellow concertgoers while enjoying a complimentary beverage, all in one of the most serene settings in the city. The perfect way to start the evening!

For Friday, April 25, Drinks the Garden starts at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. For the Saturday and Sunday shows, both start at 2 p.m.
