The Brew at the Zoo this Friday evening, August 7 will let you enjoy a bevy of delicious craft brews amidst a backdrop of live music, DJs, pop-up keeper talks, and close-up animal encounters.
Standard admission includes 5-ounce beer samples from a selection of some 50 local and craft breweries. with a selection of gourmet food faire available for purchase (not included with ticket) once inside.
Among the animal attractions set for the evening include elephants, koalas, apes, The LAIR (Living Amphibians, Invertebrates, and Reptiles), and the Rainforest of the Americas (keep in mind because it’s evening most animals will be sleeping in their nighttime habitats).
General admission is $50 (with a $25 dollar entry for designated drivers, i.e., non-drinkers). Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite.
A VIP experience is available for $99 and includes early entry to select areas of the event and access to two exclusive lounges with hors d’oeuvres, specialty drinks and tastings from the likes of San Antonio Winery, Snow Leopard Vodka and The Bloody Cure, Pacific Plate Brewing, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Oskar Blues Brewery, and more. VIP tickets only available online, and will not be sold at box office.
The Brew at the Zoo goes from 7:00pm to 11:00pm (VIPs will be admitted up to one hour early).
Parking is free and should be ample. 21+ only. Ride-sharing is encouraged if you plan to drink!
