The mission of Metro Art is simple: To bring the vibrant and diverse of culture of Los Angeles to key hubs in the local public transit system. That programming takes myriad forms, whether it’s through their Metro Art Moves art and architecture tours, an evening of Salsa dancing, or partnerships with creative collectives like the Silkroad Ensemble. There is no set schedule, but they always have new events on the horizon each season, and they’re always free to attend.

Next up (tonight!) you’ll find a collaboration with KJazz 88.1 FM to celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month. The KJazz Tracks concert pops inside the historic Ticket Concourse, hosted by KJazz DJs José Rizo and Rhonda Hamilton, and featuring performances by Kiefer Trio, Salami Rose Joe Louis, and David Binney Action Trio. Open to all, this is a must for jazz lovers looking to experience live music in an iconic setting. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
