Bigfoot Lodge’s monthly Americana Joy showcase brings the best of bluegrass, folk, and Southern rock to Los Feliz, spotlighting emerging Americana artists in an intimate, no-frills setting. Hosted by Matt Axton (son of Hoyt Axton), Grand Ole Country Bunker, and Warbringer Southwest Bourbon, each month features a fresh batch of talent. For March, the series celebrates Women’s History Month with a spotlight on women in Americana. DJ sets bookend a lineup that includes Meels (9 p.m.), Heather Anne Lomax (10 p.m.), and Serafia (11 p.m.). No tickets needed—just show up and grab a seat.
Beyond the music, Bigfoot Lodge itself is an experience. Open since 1999, this quirky, mountain roadhouse-style bar is packed with taxidermy, a Smokey the Bear statue, and a slightly terrifying animatronic squirrel wielding a hatchet. You’ll love it.
