Jackalope Arts is an artisan vendor event that has been up running for more than a decade, banding together dozens of local sellers to showcase to the public some of the most unique handmade offerings in the city. The collective has expanded the event to three states over the years, but one of the original locations is at Central Park in Old Pasadena. That OG fair is still going strong, with biannual events that return every spring and fall.

Here you’ll find some 200 local artisans offering a vast variety of indie goods from original fashion and jewelry to home decor, housewares, art, and photography. The event also features live musical performances, food offerings, and in the case of the Pasadena location, plenty of space to hang out and picnic if you decided to make a day of it. It’s free to attend for all-ages, pet friendly (on a leash), and the location is just a stone’s throw from the Metro A Line stop at Del Mar station. Forgo the car, and make a day out of it!
