Free Admission Days at The Autry | Free To-Do #1

The Autry Museum of the American West in Griffith Park is dedicated to exploring the diverse history and cultures of the American West. Here you’ll find a range of permanent works and special exhibitions that take into account a wide experiences of various groups, including Native Americans, early settlers, and those who shaped the region’s cultural landscape. Think everything from landscape paintings and murals to a firearms gallery, Pueblo ceramics, pottery, and unique installations.

Admission regularly starts at $18 for adults, but the museum offers free admission every Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m. with advanced registration. Current exhibitions include Romance Reimagined, showcasing award-winning paintings and sculptures from the annual Masters of the American West, and Future Imaginaries: Indigenous Art, Fashion, Technology, which explores Futurism in contemporary Indigenous art as a response to colonial trauma and a vision for a more inclusive, sustainable future.
