The intent of this “cheat-sheet” is to denote specific free days in May where Los Angeles museums that normally charge an admission waive entry fees (not including parking).
For for this month please take special note of the Museums of The Arroyo Day on May 15 when six local museums and historical homes in Northeast Los Angeles will open their doors free of charge for their annual event.

Also, speaking of free museums, make sure you’re up to date on The Broad’s new ticketing schedule if you’re looking to reserve entry.
Finally, just to remind you there are also over two dozen museums in and around Los Angeles that offer free admission ALL the time which are not listed here.
For those spots we’ve compiled a handy list of ALL of those free museums (including favorites like The Getty, California Science Center, The Hammer Museum, and more) if you’d like to explore all your freebie options for May.
Enjoy!
