
Need a little infusion of vibrance for your Sunday? Today, the the City of Torrance celebrates their 12th Annual Cherry Blossom Cultural Festival at Colombia Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs, and picnic under the cherry blossoms (keep mind the forecast, as we did wake up with some untimely sprinkles this morning).
The event will feature a variety of crafts by local artisans, local cuisine all centered around the blooming cherry blossom, and a pan-asian lineup of live performers including the Rafu Mutsumi-Kai Mikoshi Procession, South Bay Little Angels (Chinese Folk Dance), Pacific Opera Project, Martial Arts demonstration by Master Don Wortman, BollyPop La, The Kewpiez and Let’s Go Dancers (J-Pop), Torrance Naginata Club, Matsutoyo Kai (Traditional Japanese Folk Music), Umeboshi (Matsuri Pop-Up Band), and members of Asano Taiko.
