Here’s a Cheatsheet of Free Museum Days in L.A. For March 2024

If you only take away one thing from this month’s cheatsheet, then it should a date: March 23. That’s when the annual SoCal Museums Free-For-All returns, offering free, single day admission at over 30 area museums and cultural institutions, including some that offer free admission year-round (The Getty, The Getty Villa, The Broad, etc…) along with others that normally charge for entry (Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Autry, Skirball Cultural Center, etc…). Bookmark it!

Also, a quick note on The Autry. The Griffith Park-based museum of the American West previously offered a free day every second Tuesday of the month. But starting in February they have replaced the monthly freebie with a pair of weekly free afternoons, offering gratis admission every Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m. And now you know!

Free Museum Days in Los Angeles for March 2024

[MARCH 1 ] Norton Simon Museum is free every first Friday of the month from 4 to 7 p.m.

[MARCH 1] The Japanese American National Museum is offering free admission for their opening night celebration of the new Giant Robot Biennale 5 exhibition. Runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
