Howlin’ Ray’s, the wildly popular hot chicken restaurant known for its ever-present lines, is now offering delivery on Postmates. So if you’ve ever craved their spicy wings but lacked the patience required to get them, now’s your chance.
Though the line outside of Howlin’ Ray’s is nearly as famous as its spicy wings, the restaurant’s popularity became an issue at the onset of the pandemic. As Eater LA’s Farley Elliott reported, the restaurant’s Far East Plaza location in Chinatown is not particularly large and an earlier attempt to offer delivery “broke” Postmates. This time, owners Johnny Ray Zone and Amanda Zone worked with the delivery app on a pared-down menu and limited delivery radius with an expansion of both to come soon.

For now, you can only order chicken wings, chicken sandwiches, select sides, and a cup of comeback sauce. You’ll also need to live within the delivery radius (unlike me, who lives near Larchmont and will get no hot chicken today).
Howlin’ Ray’s is open for delivery on Postmates Tues.-Sun., 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
