Posted by Brace yourselves: L.A. Beer Week is coming and it’s the perfect way to jumpstart the first official week of summer (if you’re old enough to drink that is).
Back for its 7th annual installment, LA Beer Week tips things off with a kickoff festival on June 20 and is followed by an expected 200+ mini events citywide during Beer Week 2015, including tap takeovers and beer dinners at local craft-brew spots all over Los Angeles. The kickoff fest takes place at Exposition Park on Saturday, June 20 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and will include 75+ attending breweries, live music and entertainment, food trucks, educational panel discussions, and a VIP private area.
General admission tickets for the Kickoff fest (which includes a commemorative tasting glass and samples of over 200 different types of beer, cider and home brewed sodas) are going for $45 via Eventbrite. Unfortunately it looks like the VIP tickets are already sold out.
All attendees must be 21+ or older and IDs will be checked at the entrance. Parking on site is available for $15 (cash only) per vehicle, so you may want to take public transit if you’re inclined.
