Who’s ready for a little night time fun at the LA Zoo?
The zoo’s annual summertime, after-hours music series, Roaring Nights, is back for 2015 and features an awesome assortment of indie bands, DJs, adult beverages, food trucks, pop-up zookeeper talks and animal encounters, plus a crafting station where you can paint your own LA Zoo memory on canvas and take it home for free.

There are three dates scheduled for this summer, with the following expected musical performances attached for each:
- June 26: Black Crystal Wolf Kids
- July 24: Springtime Carnivores and DJ Johnny Hawkes
- August 21: Pac Men and DJ Johnny Hawkes
Featured food trucks will include Coolhaus, Komodo, Lobsta Truck, Mandoline Grill, Rajin Cajun, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Urban Oven, Baby’s Badass Burgers, Bakery Truck, Border Grill, Dogtown Dogs, India Jones, Rice Balls of Fire, Son of a Bun, The Hungry Nomad, The Pudding Truck.
Tickets for Roaring Nights are $20 per person and GLAZA members are $17. No food or drink is included with the cost of admission. There are also a limited supply of discount tickets available through our friends at Goldstar.
We recommend buying in advance to avoid the lines for purchasing tickets at the gate (this definitely saved Christina and I time when we went last year). Gates open at 7:00pm for all events and concerts are scheduled to end by 11:00pm.
Keep in mind admission to Roaring Nights is limited to guests 18 years and older. Valid I.D. is required. No outside food and beverages is allowed in.
The Los Angeles Zoo is located at 5333 Zoo Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027.
