Ok… tell me more.

For All Hallows’ Eve 2015 the Natural History Museum will be hosting an all-night, adults-only sleepover they’re calling: The Art of Mounting.
On the evening of October 31 guests can hang out at NHM for with a spooktacular taxidermy themed party starting at 8:00pm. The night will feature a host of fun activities including a curatorial talk on taxidermy, a gallery scavenger hunt, music spun by a DJ, and a natural history-themed movie screening.
Craft beer and wine will be available from 8:30pm to midnight, and food will include a snack buffet served at midnight.
Oh, and be sure to bring your sleeping bag and come dressed in your comfiest pajamas as you’ll be spending the night camped out in the diorama halls (you know, where all those taxidermied animals live).
If you’re feeling extra fancy you can even upgrade your experience with a behind the scenes tour at night, breakfast buffet or admission into NHM’s new traveling exhibit Mummies: New Secrets from the Tombs in the morning.
Tickets for The Art of Mounting are priced at $135 per person (non-members).
Upgrades can be purchased after you’ve registered for the basic ticket package.
Keep in mind all participants must be 21+ to register.
The Natural History Museum is located at 900 Exposition Blvd. in Los Angeles.
Enjoy!
