Pokémon Go has taken over most of our lives here in Los Angeles helping folks spend some extra time outside and on our feet but have you tried catching one of these guys outside of city streets? Here’s your chance.
This weekend National Park rangers will lead two Pokémon Go walks at Los Angeles area parks.

One will be held at Marsh Park on Friday and the other at Griffith Park (near the merry-go-round) on Saturday giving you the perfect opportunity to catch the game’s non-native creatures while learning about real local wildlife and habitats of these particular locations.
What Pokémons could be lurking in the wild? Could it be Dragonite? Mew? Charizard?!?!? Come find out yourself and try to “catch em all” while exploring a park or two 😉
Dates and times are below.
Friday July 15, 2016: Marsh Park 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday July 16, 2016: Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round 10 a.m. to noon
Attention Trainers: We're so excited you're headed out to the parks. Go #FindYourPark & catch 'em all! #PokemonGohttps://t.co/HOK57ZPQ0i
