On Saturday, August 15 the folks from Re/creation Cafe are taking over Circus Disco in Hollywood to present something they call: Rave on Wheels. And since it’s a rave of course it has a theme, which in this case is “We Are All Animals.”

Guests are strongly encouraged to dress for the occasion and (their words) “unleash your inner spirit animal.
There will be two stages with DJ’s mixing beats all night long, plus a bean bag lounge for “non-skaters” or folks who just need to take a minute to chill. The evening will also feature an outdoor smoking patio, hookah lounge, food trucks ( including Urban Pie, Teeki, Blu Sugar, and Gold Frame). And if you want to arrive a bit early there will even be a free one hour Yoga session offered at 8:00pm.
Here’s the full Schedule for the evening:
8:00pm – Yoga warm-up party.
9:00pm – Doors open for skating.
11:30pm – Special performance.
2:00am – Event closes.
Tickets for the event are $30. Skate rentals are $5 a piece, available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Note that ticket purchase does not guarantee skate rental availability. Novice skaters are strongly please bring wrist guards and knee pads (limited availability at the venue).
