Starting on Friday, June 10, Plan Check Kitchen + Bar will be teaming up with Sanrio to celebrate two very cute characters who are both turning 20 this year.

Pompompurin and Chococat will be featured in a exclusive multi-course menu that’s set to run through Sunday, July 10.
Pompompurin in sandwich form… Chococat as a cookie… one might say it’s almost too hard to eat such cute things (I said almost.)
So grab your camera/iPhone and come hungry. The menu set has six items all together making it one super adorable feast.

Sanrio is best known for pop icon Hello Kitty but she has over 100 friends in the mix.
Just last year Plan Check and Sanrio launched a highly popular Gudetama, the lazy egg menu which was seen on Instagram everywhere. It became so popular they had to extend the dates!
This time the laid back Golden Retriever Pompompurin and little black cat with a chocolate nose Chococat will take over all three locations of Plan Check + Bar. The Plan Check culinary team has created character inspired dishes, that include: Mac & Cheese comprised of Americanized dashi cheese, bread crumbs, and Parmigiano Reggiano; Togarashi Potato Chips; a Pompompurin Grilled Sausage Sandwich with house blended sausage, kimchi slaw, and kewpie cilantro served on a crunch bun; a Chococat Cookie served with vanilla ice cream; and a Vanilla Cream Soda topped with whipped cream.
The multi-course Plan Check x Pompompurin x Chococat menu will be available for $39 and each menu set will include a limited edition co-branded cap.
In honor of Pet Appreciation Week (first week of June), a portion of the meal proceeds from the month-long promotion will be donated to L.A. Love & Leashes, an adoption space created by the non-profit Friends of L.A. Animal Shelters that is 100% dedicated to animals from Los Angeles’ six city animal shelters.
