Mos Eisley Cantina may exist in a galaxy far, far away, but soon you could visit a pop-up version that’ll be “less than 12 parsecs away, in the wretched hive of Hollywood.”
In case you missed it, earlier this week Nerdist reported that a very special Star Wars-inspired cantina will be popping up in Hollywood sometime in the winter.

Here’s what we know so far:
Scum and Villainy Cantina, as the pop-up is called, will be located somewhere in the heart of Hollywood (90028 zip code) and posits itself as a experience that “transports you into a fully immersive environment where you drink, eat, and hang out as if you were in a galaxy far away. If you’ve got the credits, we’ll serve your kind here… just make sure to leave your droids at home,” according to the cantina’s official website.
Oh, and costumes are most definitely encouraged.

So how do you get in?
In order to gain entry you’ll have to make a reservation that’ll be good for a two-hour stay that runs 6 to 8 p.m. or 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. each night, or from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
Each reservation (price unknown) will include drinks, a souvenir pint glass and a Scum and Villainy challenge coin.
If you don’t want to make a reservation you can come during walk-in hours between 11 p.m. to 2 a.m.
As of writing of this blog post the reservation system on the official website is still “coming soon” but we expect that to be live sometime in the next week.
Scum and Villainy is slated to open sometime “this winter” per the Nerdist, but no exact opening date has been offered, nor even a specific physical address beyond the zip code mentioned above.
Beyond the info shared above the particulars in terms of food and drink are also still on the vague side, but we expect additional updates to be coming on the tavern’s website soon.
Also, no word yet on whether Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes will be playing, but one can only hope…
May the force be with you!
