The beloved brewery is celebrating with a great lineup of events featuring new, classic and limited release brews. Look out for the pool party they’ll be throwing with The Ace and Puckerfest their sour beer event!

L.A. Times THE TASTE is Back!

The epic three day food event returns to Paramount Pictures Studios this Labor Day Weekend (September 2-4). Tickets are on sale now at latimes.com/thetaste.

Summer at Ocean Prime Means Two Happy Hour Menus!

Ocean Prime is launching two new happy hour menus starting Friday June 17. Every Friday is deemed “Summer Fridays” from 2-10 p.m. enjoy $1 oysters, $10 sushi rolls, $10 Veuve Cliquot, Moet Imperial Rose and cocktails of the day. Monday through Thursday from 5–8 p.m. enjoy $5 off all small plates, sushi and raw bar offerings in the lounges as well as $8 handcrafted cocktails and $5-$8 beers and wines.

A Royal Prince + L.A. Chef Collab Food Truck

Italian Crown Prince Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia and renowned Chef Mirko Paderno of Officine BRERA are set to launch the “Prince of Venice” Food Truck on June 15, which will feature gourmet pastas and fine desserts at affordable prices. Check their Twitter for locations and latest info.

LUKE Refreshes The Valley With New Cocktail Hour Menu

Woodland Hills eatery LUKE offers specials on cocktails, gourmet snacks, and reinvented classic comfort foods six days a week this summer. All drinks are under $10, and a selection of snacks and entrées will be priced $3–$12. “Cocktail Hour” is available Tuesdays through Fridays from 5–7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 3–5 p.m.

FYI…

Taiwanese bakery chain 85°C Bakery Cafe just opened its first Downtown Los Angeles location at 700 Wilshire Boulevard on the corner of Wilshire and Hope. We love all their sweet breads and taro filled treats but they also make addicting sugary drinks too!

Must hit up place of the week goes to..

Time to head over to the SGV for Miàn Tony Xu of Chengdu Taste opened the casual Chongqing noodle shop located at 301 W Valley Blvd, #114-115 in San Gabriel, where you can get Hot & Sour Noodles, Beef Pickled Noodles and Szechuan Cold Noodles.

Finally, just a quick snapshot of the best thing we’ve eaten in the past week…

The Squid Ink Corzetti with lobster, saffron and cherry tomatoes at Miro in Downtown Los Angeles. If you are a whiskey lover make sure to head down stairs to their whiskey lounge.
