Super Cute Sanrio Characters Taking Over Plan Check Menu
Starting on Friday, June 10, Plan Check Kitchen + Bar will be teaming up with Sanrio to celebrate Pompompurin and Chococat. Both will be featured in a exclusive multi-course menu that’s set to run through Sunday, July 10.
Best Donuts in Los Angeles
We know that National Donut Day is over but our list comes in handy for those who celebrate the glorious donut daily 😉
Connie & Ted’s Turns 3 Celebrates with Special Menu
The West Hollywood seafood spot is celebrating with a three-course deal all month long costing a humble $25 for lunch and $40 for dinner. Items include Lobster rolls, oysters, the Hook Burger and Whoppie Pies.
Negroni Week is in Full Effect
It’s Negroni Week and the old school cocktail is being offered all week (June 6-12) at places like The Bellwether, Ivory on Sunset, Herringbone, Viviane, Hinoki & The Bird, Faith & Flower, Terrine and more. Playa Provisions and Hudson House have negronis for just $10 too.
Tsujita coming to the Eastside
You no longer have to drive to the westside for Tsujita’s famous Tsukemen ramen. The artisan noodle house is coming to The Americana in Glendale this Fall.
Beverly Hills Beignet Opens
On June 13 Beverly Hills Beignet will open its doors with Executive Pastry Chef Lincoln Carson at the helm.
Soul Sunday Block Party with Cape Seafood, The Fat Dog and more
Cape Seafood, The Fat Dog, Coffee Commissary and Pitfire Pizza are having a block party! Enjoy music on the patio, with drinks specials, oysters, mini lobster rolls and more. There’s no cover.

Meizhou Dongpo in Arcadia
Times critic Jonathan Gold heads to the 626 for the la zi ji a.k.a. spicy fried chicken at this Sichuan-style chain based in Beijing and he described the dish as “splendid.”

West Hollywood Restaurants Celebrating LA PRIDE
LA Pride will take over the streets of West Hollywood (June 10 – 13) If you are going some restaurants will be joining in on the festivities with PRIDE specific cocktails and drinks specials. Ivory on Sunset will offer an exclusive drink called the Oscar Wilde, Gracias Madre will offer two special items a Mezcal cocktail called Pimp My Pride and a rainbow fruit coulis called Pride Trifle and many others will offer food and drink specials throughout the weekend.
