Get Smitten’s freshly churned Classic Vanilla, Fresh Picked Strawberry, or Brown Sugar, served inside a “Cruffin Cone,” a croissant baked like a muffin turned into a cone. E.P. & L.P. presents ‘Melrose Rooftop Cinema’ in West Hollywood featuring sweeping city views, modern Asian cuisine and an outdoor movie experience every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening through August 30. The series continues with Good Fellas on Tuesday. General Admission tickets cost $15 and VIP seating is $25. There is a dining option before the movie at the Aussie-Fijian restaurant, it’s called the ‘Express Menu’ featuring three courses for an additional $34 featuring Executive Chef Louis Tikaram’s new dishes inspired by his recent travels to Fiji, Vietnam, and Australia.
The 9th Annual Taste of Farmers Market comes to 3rd Street and Fairfax for a massive feast from some of your favorite restaurants inside the iconic open air market. Tickets cost $35 in advance, $40 at the door and kids tickets are just $10. Admission includes food sampling, firehouse chili tastes prepared by firefighter chefs, beer and wine samples, two non-alcoholic drinks and free parking.
The Standing Room in Hermosa Beach is offering AYCE roasted pig every Tuesday for just $15 the dinner also comes with a free beer! Every week a 50lb pig will be roasted on a La Caja Smoker to serve unlimited menu items that include tacos and pulled pork sliders with the fixings.

Angelenos and visitors alike will have the opportunity to enjoy prix-fixe menus from top resturants all over Los Angeles County. 300+ resturants will be participating and all dineL.A. deals follow the same price plan: $15, $20, or $25 for lunch menus and $29, $39, or $49 for dinners. The 2nd Annual Delicious Little Tokyo returns to the heart of Little Tokyo Friday July 21 through Sunday July 23 for a historic neighborhood foodie experience. The weekend will feature culinary demos, food tours, workshops and one-of-kind activities at various Little Tokyo shops and eateries. Highlights include “Sake at First Street North, Little Tokyo”, the 11th Annual Sake & Food Tasting Event, on Friday where small plates from local neighborhood restaurants and sake will be provided by Mutual Trading Co. Also of note, Wolf & Crane’s Cocktail Demo, sushi-making lesson and a poke and tea tasting.
626 Night Market comes to Santa Anita Park from July 21-23 for the largest Asia-themed night market in the United States. It will feature food, merchandise, crafts, arts, games, music, and entertainment. Tickets are available at the gates for $3 Friday and Sunday and $5 on Saturday. Children ages 6 and under free.
Greenbar Distillery is hosting cocktail classes in Downtown LA this Friday with vodka and whiskey cocktails. During these classes, each table will be laden with homemade syrups, fresh juices, herbs, fruits, liqueurs, and bitters so you can create cocktail magic. Each session will run about two hours. Tickets are $40 per person and guests make/drink three cocktails all together.
Catch a flick on the rooftop of the Ritz-Carlton in Downtown Los Angeles during Summer Supper + Show Series presented by WP24 by Wolfgang Puck. The series continues with a screening of Grease on July 21-22. The experience begins with a two-course prix-fixe dinner at modern Chinese eatery WP24, then a move to the rooftop deck to take in a movie from a select reserve seat while savoring cinema snacks such as housemade potato chips, candied Marcona almonds, crispy breadsticks with prosciutto, and caramel corn. Tickets for this supper-and-a-show experience are $85. If you prefer to just watch the movie while enjoying the aforementioned Puck-created concessions, reserve a seat with snacks for just $25.
