
It’s that time of year again. The Hollywood Bowl has announced their 2025 season and it’s an absolute banger of a lineup.
As the LA Phil launches a fresh slate of performances for the summer to come, they’ll start things with a free We ♥ LA concert on Tuesday, April 1 to honor first responders who bravely fought the Los Angeles Fires and community members impacted by the tragedy. From there, the historic amphitheater promises over 70 concert dates from June to September.
The fun begins with Opening Night at the Bowl (Jun 7) featuring Hugh Jackman, who will perform hits from The Greatest Showman, The Music Man and more. And if musicals are your bag, then you’re in luck. The star-studded Hollywood Bowl tradition of the annual musical returns with Jesus Christ Superstar (Aug 1-3), casting Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo in the title role.
And of course what’s a summer at the Bowl without Gustavo Dudamel, who will be in his 16th and penultimate season. The L.A. legend is slated to conduct eight performances in August with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Venezuela’s Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra.
As we scan the horizon of what the new season has on offer, the word that comes to mind is range, from The Alabama Shakes and Air, to Cyndi Lauper, Diana Ross, Josh Groban, Chicago, Dave Koz, Big Thief, John Legend, and so many more.
