Ivy Station Night Market: Valentine’s Edition M FA > The monthly night market at Ivy Station returns this Friday with a Valentine’s Day themed event featuring handmade and artisan goods from 25+ local vendors plus food trucks, craft beer, games, tarot readings, a “paint your partner” activity, and music. Singles can mingle with a round of musical chairs speed dating, and there will also be romantic photo opportunities by Las Fotos Project and three-hour block of love song karaoke. Drinks in the Garden with the LA PhilM TP > Spend your Valentine’s Day Friday at Walt Disney Concert Hall, beginning with a mix and mingle amongst fellow concertgoers while enjoying a complimentary beverage at the Blue Ribbon Garden. Drinks in the Garden also offers guests a red rose and a personalized poem crafted on the spot by typists from the Melrose Poetry Bureau. Following the pre-concert mingle, the musical program inside the Concert Hall features South Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho and Grammy Award-winning conductor Paavo Järvi. Chaotic Singles Party at NeueHouse Venice Beach -> Bring little romantic mayhem into your Valentine’s Day with a Chaotic Singles Party this Friday at NeueHouse Venice Beach. Night Dive at AoP -> The Aquarium of the Pacific’s signature adults-only, after-hours series returns this Friday with a Valentines Day edition with food trucks, cash bars, DJs throughout the Aquarium galleries, art, and a live band playing in the Great Hall of the Pacific. Show Some Love at Pacific Park -> Pacific Park is dialing up the Valentine’s Day vibes at the Santa Monica Pier this Friday to Sunday with a heart-themed Ferris wheel light show, fresh flower bouquets, and specialty cocktails at Patio 66. River Sessions | Mile 25: Poet Laureates on Wheels LA Wildfire Benefit Ride -> LA River Arts’ series exploring portions of the Los Angeles River takes to two wheels this Saturday, as they’ll team up with BiciCrófono Los Angeles Poet Society for a group resilience ride to raise fire relief funds. Poets from across Southern California will be joining for the ride, and the event will be highlighted by special musical guests Juan Flautista, an Los Angeles-based poet, vocalist, and lifelong musician and flute player with Latin and Blues Rock influences. Pasadena Black History Festival FA > This year the Pasadena Black History Festival will focus on recovery within the community amidst the ongoing tragedy caused by the Eaton Fire. Taking place at Robinson Park this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the event feature live bands, dance performances, community booths, guest speakers, and food for purchase. Closing Exhibition Party at Crenshaw Dairy Mart -> This Saturday, Crenshaw Dairy Mart in Inglewood hosts the closing event for Free the Land! Free the People!, a PST ART exhibition commissioned by The Getty. The all-day celebration features Prosperity Market’s mobile farmers market, Black farmers meet-ups by WOW Flower Project, a kids’ STEAM station by Teach to Reach, and music by DJ Kiah G. Dre Day LA 2025 @ Echoplex TP > It’s all Dre all the time this Saturday at Echoplex. Dre Day LA, now in its 10th year, brings a night of Dr. Dre-related material to the DJ booth with a mix of classics, productions, album cuts, rarities, and samples.
