1. [11 a.m.] A colorful, winding installation called The Second Home Serpentine Pavilion is now open at the La Brea Tar Pits for the summer and its 100% free for the public to roam and explore. The pavilion is open daily and will run through November 24. FREE
2. [2 p.m.] Monday Matinees: The Quick and the Dead in 35mm at New Beverly Cinema.
3. [6 p.m.] There’s a Lion King themed game night happening at Scum and Villainy Cantina in Hollywood this Monday.
4. [6:30 p.m.] There’s a free Mindful Yoga on the Beach series in the South Sand of the Manhattan Beach Pier this Monday at 6:30 p.m. FREE
5. [7 p.m.] Start your week with a free Jam Session at the Ford Theatres. This week’s focus: Old School street dance. FREE
6. [7:30 p.m.] Venice Kickball (Westside) Kickball – Free Pickup Game at Oakwood Recreational Park. FREE
7. [8 p.m.] Pub Trivia at The Fox and Hounds in Studio City.
8. [8 p.m.] Free screening of The Advocates followed by a panel discussion at Echo Park Film Center. FREE
9. [8:30 p.m.] Funny humans Daniel Van Kirk and the Sklar Brothers present Dumb People Town a show at Largo that examines dumb people doing dumb things (often in Florida) they’ll be joined by Patton Oswalt, Lauren Lapkus and Joey Ryan of The Milk Carton Kids.
10. [various] dineL.A. Restaurant Week returns for a 15-day dining event that highlights the diverse and exciting culinary experiences Los Angeles has to offer.
