1. [8 a.m.] Topanga Vintage Market happens on the fourth Sunday of every month at Pierce College in Woodland Hills with over 170 of Los Angeles’ best vintage, antiques, and collectibles dealers.
2. [noon] Lalopolooza: A Chicanofest Celebrating Lalo Guerrero at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes.
3. [2 p.m.] Listen to the New Valley Symphony Orchestra perform Sci-Fi Masterworks from iconic movies and television shows from 2001: A Space Odyssey to scores for Star Wars, E.T., Alien and Planet of the Apes. Happening at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills’ Hall of Liberty. DISCOUNTED (via Goldstar)
4. [2 p.m.] The Floor Improv Day at Union Station is a free public event showcasing L.A.’s diverse musicians and dancers from 2 to 5 p.m. Performances by The Red Line Horns, a flamenco lesson, a tango lesson and a percussion workshop. The day concludes with the Open Improv Dance Floor. FREE
5. [4 p.m.] 626 Night Market comes to Santa Anita Park from July 21-23 for the largest Asia-themed night market in the United States. It will feature food, merchandise, crafts, arts, games, music, and entertainment.
6. [4 p.m.] Mystery Science Theater 3000 Live at the Ace Hotel Theatre.
7. [6:30 p.m.] The Levitt Pavilion in McArthur Park continue their annual free concert series this week with The Hollow Trees on Sunday. FREE
8. [7 p.m.] Shakespeare By The Sea returns with free performances for the summer. This Sunday they’ll be performing The Taming of the Shrew at Rush Park in Los Alamitos. While admission is free encourage donations to help support the play. FREE
9. [7:30 p.m.] Sondheim on Sondheim, at the Hollywood Bowl is dedicated to the iconic music of Stephen Sondheim. Gustavo Dudamel will lead the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Vanessa Williams, Jesse Ferguson, Jonathan Groff and more will perform.
10. [various] The 2nd Annual Delicious Little Tokyo returns to the heart of Little Tokyo Friday July 21 through Sunday July 23 for a historic neighborhood foodie experience. The weekend will feature culinary demos, food tours, workshops and one-of-kind activities at various Little Tokyo shops and eateries.
