Starting today, December 5, a Will Ferrell-themed bar is opening for a limited time only at the TCL Chinese 6 Theaters.

Stay Classy Bar, which is (important to note) not officially affiliated with Will Ferrell, plays tribute to the comedian and his memorable movie characters via themed drinks and decor that includes movie posters, props, paraphernalia, and actual wardrobe from Ferrell films. A New York City version of Stay Classy opened last year to much buzz, and the new L.A. edition will arrives in the form of a ten-day pop-up.

A list of ‘classy cocktails’ available at Stay Classy will feature such notables as A Whale’s Vagina, Big Foot’s Dick, and the Smelly Pirate Hooker.
According to LAist, Stay Classy Bar co-founder Zach Neil promised that several brand new L.A.-only drinks would be available at the Hollywood version, plus specific nights for Anchorman-themed and Elf-themed dance parties. If all goes well the bar may take up permanent residency here in the city of angels.

Of course the question is for the time being, how does one get in to Stay Classy L.A.?
As Eater LA mentions walk-ins are welcome for the Stay Classy’s L.A. pop-up, but it’s suggested that all guests RSVP by texting the word “classy” to (929) 291-0337.
Be warned, however, that the invite list is getting a bit long. The @stayclassybar Instagram account posted in a comment on Saturday that they had received some 10,000 text messages in the preceding days to request an RSVP. At time of comment posting not all text messages had been replied to, though the account stated they would “…hit everyone back and get everyone in!”
Stay Classy Bar will be at the TCL Chinese 6 Theaters at 6801 Hollywood Blvd. in the Hollywood and Highland Center. The pop-up runs from Dec. 5-15.
